I’m Sean Fowler, founder and pilot at Iowa Drone Solutions, a locally owned business based in Urbandale.
I work with contractors, property owners, and businesses across Central Iowa to document construction progress, capture detailed asset imagery, and create aerial maps, photos, and video.
When you contact Iowa Drone Solutions, you work directly with me - from discussing your project and planning the flights, to processing and delivering the finished files.

Our Approach
Start with what you need.
A construction progress update, an equipment documentation project, and a marketing video each require a different approach. I start by understanding what you need to see, who will use the imagery, and how you want it delivered.
Plan for the project.
Preparation includes reviewing airspace, weather, site conditions, and access requirements. For recurring construction work, I plan repeatable flight paths and viewpoints so updates are easier to compare over time.
Deliver information you can use.
My background as a business analyst shaped how I approach troubleshooting, communication, and organizing information. I bring that same approach to aerial work, with clearly defined deliverables and organized, dated files that are easy to review and share.

Iowa Drone Solutions is proud to be an official sponsor of the Iowa Wild. Alongside my commercial drone work, I pilot the RC blimp during their home games at Casey’s Center.
